Prove It  ·  Last updated: 14 May 2026

Anhar Perinkadakkat ("I", "me", or "we") operates the Prove It iOS application. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using Prove It you agree to these practices.

Short version: Almost everything Prove It knows about you stays on your device. The only data that ever leaves your device relates to your in-app subscription, handled by RevenueCat and Apple.

1. Information Collected and How It Is Used

Information you provide during setup

All of the above is stored only on your device in the app's secure shared container. None of it is transmitted to any server.

Apps and websites you choose to block

Prove It uses Apple's Screen Time API to apply the blocks you configure. Your list of blocked apps, app categories, and websites is stored locally and is never sent off the device.

Camera and photo data

Prove It requires camera access to verify your unlock challenges. When you attempt to unlock a blocked app, the camera captures a single frame, which is immediately analysed on your device using an on-device machine-learning model (Core ML / CLIP). The image is never uploaded and never saved to your photo library.

To power the in-app unlock history feature, a compressed copy of a successful challenge photo may be stored locally in the app's private container on your device, together with the challenge name and timestamp. This history stays on-device only, is not transmitted to any server, and is retained until it is replaced by newer entries or removed when the app is deleted.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, Prove It sends a local notification when you tap a blocked app, prompting you to complete your unlock challenge. Notifications are generated entirely on-device; no notification content is sent to external servers.

Diagnostic information

The app records lightweight diagnostic timestamps and status strings (e.g., when a relock schedule last fired) to the same local storage. These are used solely for in-app troubleshooting and are never transmitted.

2. Information Not Collected

Prove It does not collect or transmit:

There are no third-party analytics SDKs in Prove It.

3. Third-Party Services

RevenueCat

Prove It uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. When you purchase or restore a subscription, RevenueCat receives data necessary to process and verify the transaction, including a device identifier and your purchase history. Please review RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on how they handle this information.

Apple

All purchases are processed through the App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs data collected during that process. The Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks are Apple system APIs; they operate entirely on-device and do not transmit your blocking configuration to Apple or to me.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

All data Prove It stores locally is held in the app's private container on your device. This includes onboarding details, blocking configuration, lightweight diagnostics, and any unlock history photos stored for the in-app history feature. Deleting the app removes all associated local data immediately. No copies exist on any server operated by me.

Subscription records managed by RevenueCat and Apple are governed by their respective data retention policies. To request deletion of data held by RevenueCat, contact them at revenuecat.com/privacy or reach us at maxflameapps@gmail.com and we will assist you.

5. Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy 🔗

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
